02 — Abstract
The internet is better
when it feels human.
What this document is, what it describes, and what it deliberately does not promise.
CapyCrew is an animation-first NFT universe built around a simple idea: the internet is better when participation feels human.
The project combines collectible characters, a shared setting called CapyCity, and a product loop built around profiles, galleries, monthly missions, rewards, polls, and a public activity feed. The site, collection, and community are the first public districts. New features ship only when they are real, documented, and safe to use.
03 — The world
Stay mellow.
Build the signal.
The setting, and the format the characters are published in.
CapyCity is a soft-edged onchain setting for characters, moving image, and collective experiments. Every release should stand on its own while adding another piece to the wider story.
Characters with a media identity
Animated CapyCrew NFTs are the membership layer. Each token can carry a still cover, a video
animation_url, metadata, and access rights that expand only when the relevant product
is live.
- Standard. ERC-721A
- Format. Image + video
- Storage target. IPFS / Arweave
04 — The signal loop
Discover → collect
→ participate → shape.
How a member arrives, and what the first focused web app has to carry once they do.
- Discover. Find a drop, story, or community moment through official channels.
- Collect. Use a compatible wallet and verify the contract before signing.
- Participate. Join showcases, holder tooling, and experiments that are actually live.
- Shape. Feedback and proposals help decide what deserves the next district.
The experience is the product
The first focused web app is designed to give holders a reason to return every month. It is not a collection viewer bolted onto a mint page; it is a member home with a clear loop and visible progress.
- Wallet + profile. Connect, verify a Capy, and manage traits, animations, badges, and participation history.
- Holder gallery. Inspect characters in a collection-style display with trait metadata and animation previews.
- Monthly missions. Design districts, submit concepts, vote on drops, complete challenges, and attend events.
- Public activity. Follow districts, drops, contributions, mission completions, and community decisions.
05 — Tokenomics
Utility before
supply.
What $CAPY would be for, and the envelope every figure in this section belongs to.
$CAPY is not the primary product and is not required for the MVP. It may be considered later as a coordination layer only after CapyCrew demonstrates recurring monthly participation, documented rewards, active community decisions, and a transparent treasury process. No token launch date is promised.
The map below models an illustrative fixed genesis supply of 1,000,000,000 $CAPY with no inflation. Treat every figure in this section as a planning envelope for review rather than a committed number.
Design rule. If CapyCrew cannot explain what the token does for a real user, what demand it creates, and how value flows through the system, the token does not launch.
Fig. 5.1 — the allocation model. Drag it to rotate, or read the same five lines as a table below.
| Allocation | Share | Tokens | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ecosystem & missions | 40% | 400,000,000 | Milestone-based rewards for missions, creator work, events, and useful participation. Includes the tier-weighted holder airdrop below. | No passive emissions; release follows published programs. |
| Treasury & grants | 25% | 250,000,000 | Fund districts, approved creators, events, commerce experiments, and product work. | Multisig, budgets, and reporting required. |
| Liquidity | 15% | 150,000,000 | Provide orderly market access only if a token launch is approved. | Venue, lockup, and management policy disclosed first. |
| Contributors | 10% | 100,000,000 | Compensate long-term builders, artists, engineers, and advisors. | Minimum cliff and staged vesting; wallets disclosed. |
| Reserve | 10% | 100,000,000 | Cover future risks, strategic partnerships, or a later product need. | Locked until a public proposal and review. |
Inside ecosystem & missions / rarity weighting
100M tokens, weighted by tier.
The proposed holder airdrop sits inside the ecosystem & missions allocation, not a sixth line item. It outlines 100,000,000 tokens: a quarter of that 400,000,000 pool, or 10% of the illustrative genesis supply. The remaining 300,000,000 stays with missions, creator work, and events. Each NFT receives points equal to its rarity level: Common = 1 point through One-of-One = 8 points. A holder’s claim is calculated from the number of NFTs held in each tier and that tier’s point value. Final eligibility and allocation details will be published through official CapyCrew channels.
| Tier | Level / points per NFT | NFTs | Tier points | Share of pool | Tier allocation | Per NFT |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 | 4,000 | 4,000 | 17.3837% | 17,383,746 | 4,346 |
| Uncommon | 2 | 2,500 | 5,000 | 21.7297% | 21,729,683 | 8,692 |
| Rare | 3 | 1,500 | 4,500 | 19.5567% | 19,556,714 | 13,038 |
| Epic | 4 | 1,000 | 4,000 | 17.3837% | 17,383,746 | 17,384 |
| Legendary | 5 | 600 | 3,000 | 13.0378% | 13,037,810 | 21,730 |
| Mythic | 6 | 300 | 1,800 | 7.8227% | 7,822,686 | 26,076 |
| Unique | 7 | 90 | 630 | 2.7379% | 2,737,940 | 30,422 |
| One-of-One | 8 | 10 | 80 | 0.3477% | 347,675 | 34,767 |
| Total | — | 10,000 | 23,010 | 100% | 100,000,000 | — |
Example: a wallet holding two Rare NFTs and one Mythic NFT has 12 claim points (2 × 3 + 1 × 6), multiplied by the final published point value. Snapshot timing, eligibility, claim window, and treatment of unclaimed tokens must be published before distribution.
Read this first. $CAPY is a planned coordination layer, not an investment product. Ownership of an NFT or token does not confer equity, dividends, revenue share, voting control, or repayment rights unless a separate legal instrument says otherwise.3
06 — Distribution & unlocks
Transparent timing,
no silent supply.
When supply could move, and what the token would coordinate if it ever does.
The numbers below are a planning envelope, not a commitment. Final supply, float, allocation, vesting, and launch mechanics require legal, technical, community, and demand review. The design prioritizes low initial float, milestone-gated distribution, and no unlock shock larger than the product can support.
Coordination, not speculation
- Mission coordination. If launched, the token may help coordinate optional campaigns, creator challenges, or district events.
- Creator access. Approved contributors may use it for transparent collaboration budgets or campaign credits.
- Governance signal. It may signal preferences over treasury proposals or future themes where the decision is genuinely binding.
- Holding incentives. Any lock or reward mechanism must be funded by real product activity, not unsustainable inflation.
$CAPY is not designed as payment for goods unless expressly stated at checkout, and it does not create a claim against CapyCrew revenue.
| Phase | Timing | Release | Cumulative circulating target |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch gate | Before TGE | Publish utility, demand map, contract, treasury controls, risk review, and holder eligibility. | No circulation until gates pass. |
| Genesis float | TGE, if approved | Only the amount required for verified initial utility and orderly liquidity is released. | Target: low float, disclosed in advance. |
| Community distribution | Milestone-based | Rewards follow completed missions, creator work, events, or grants—not passive holding. | Event-driven; no automatic emissions. |
| Treasury | Governance-approved | Funds districts, creators, events, and product work under public budgets and signer controls. | Locked until an approved budget exists. |
| Contributors | Long-term vesting | Minimum 12-month cliff, then staged vesting tied to time and published contributor agreements. | No launch-day insider unlock. |
TGE means the first publicly confirmed token distribution. Dates are intentionally omitted until contracts, controls, and legal review are complete.
07 — Governance
Slow decisions,
published reasons.
Who holds the controls today, and the route a proposal has to travel.
Before decentralized tooling is ready, the team maintains contracts, treasury controls, and release schedules. As governance matures, proposals should move through public discussion, impact review, implementation specification, execution, and post-execution reporting.
08 — Roadmap
Milestones, not
manufactured deadlines.
Six chapters, published in order. Each one has to be real before the next one starts.
- 01 FoundationLive Genesis collection, animated media, official channels, responsive site, mint portal, and public documentation.
- 02 Member loopMVP Wallet connection, Capy profile, holder gallery, traits and animations, monthly missions, badges, polls, and a public activity feed.
- 03 CapyCity districtsNext Launch themed areas such as Street, Studio, Arcade, and Harbor with their own characters, media, missions, and collaborations.
- 04 Wearables + creatorsPlanned Introduce clothing, accessories, room items, animations, and an approved creator marketplace with transparent collaboration terms.
- 05 Events + browser worldExploratory Host showcases, listening sessions, contests, pop-ups, and a lightweight interactive CapyCity where members display their Capy and discover stories.
- 06 Treasury + token reviewGated Consider grants, commerce, fashion, and eventually $CAPY only after real activity, clear rewards, transparent distribution, and legal review exist.
09 — Game concept
CapyCity:
After Hours.
The interactive layer, filed as a concept and ranked behind the member product.
A lightweight browser world where members explore districts, display their Capy, discover stories, and turn monthly missions into visible city changes. The game is an extension of the membership experience—not a speculative promise or a requirement for the NFT to have value as a collectible.
- Explore. Move through Street, Studio, Arcade, and Harbor using a small, readable browser map.
- Make. Submit outfits, music, district props, and story fragments through moderated creator prompts.
- Earn. Complete challenges to receive non-transferable badges, art unlocks, early access, or event priority.
- Shape. Community votes and treasury grants decide which district ideas become permanent content.
The animation studies this concept is drawn from run on the front page as the dispatch deck.
10 — Architecture & operations
Document what
is live.
What gets published as it deploys, and the controls around it.
Contracts, network details, metadata endpoints, claim mechanics, and audit status will be linked here as they are deployed. Until then, treat integrations as prototypes and use only links published on the official domain.
Verify first, always
The project will publish canonical contract addresses, deployment transactions, metadata roots, and known-issue notices. Operational controls should include least-privilege access, timelocked upgrades where feasible, incident disclosure, and independent review before high-risk changes.
User protection. CapyCrew will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. A wallet signature proves control; it never authorizes token movement unless you approve a separate transaction.
11 — Risks
Know the edges.
The parts of this that can go wrong, stated plainly.
Digital assets are volatile and experimental. Smart contracts, token launches, wallets, bridges, third-party services, phishing, market illiquidity, and changing regulations carry real risk. Tokens and NFTs may lose all value. Never share a seed phrase, verify the contract and URL, and only use funds you can afford to lose.

12 — Legal & contact
Where to verify,
who to ask.
The canonical addresses, and which document wins where two of them differ.
Only pages and links published on the official CapyCrew domain are canonical. Treat any other address, contract, direct message, or claim portal as untrusted, even when it copies this document word for word.
